If your toilet cistern is made of vitreous china then generally all parts within it are actually replaceable. If you have a plastic cistern, generally it can be more cost effective to replace it depending on age/condition. We would only recommend buying a new unit as a last resort if it is more cost effective to do so.

Yes, within Australia, all new toilets must be Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (WELS) compliant. If you would like to know more about Water Ratings you can view the official Australian Government Water Ratings website.

If I dropped my wedding ring down the drain can you get it back?2019-12-09T13:19:01+11:00

Look, there is a good chance that the ring could be trapped under the sink so long as you haven’t sent a heap of water down the pipe after dropping the ring down it. We would look to pull apart your piping to try and locate the ring.
